My Journey . My Background. My Motivation

"Ultimately, my mission is to make fulfillment a driving force by integrating who we are into what we do."

Karina Zilberman is a group dynamic facilitator and experiential retreat designer who helps people hear and activate the inner wisdom they've stopped taking seriously.

For four decades, across diverse groups, corporate teams, faith communities, and retreat settings worldwide, Karina has created environments where people feel safe enough to stop performing the right answer — and rediscover what's most authentic in themselves, bringing that genuine self into how they communicate, collaborate, and show up for others, both professionally and personally.

Originally from Argentina, Karina built her early career as a performer and singer before moving to the U.S. in 2000, where she served as a cantorial soloist and assistant clergy to the rabbi at a synagogue in Downtown Miami.

Karina's art of gathering people synthesized and deepened during her ten years as Director at the world-renowned 92nd Street Y in New York, where she founded Shababa — a groundbreaking intergenerational community that became an internationally replicated model for engagement and connection. Through that work, she pioneered "The Art of Engaging" and earned the 2012 Covenant Award for excellence in Jewish education.

Today, Karina lives in Costa Rica and works with community leaders, educators, and corporate teams worldwide — at the intersection of verbal and non-verbal communication, using the arts, play, and puppetry as intentional vehicles for connection.

Through workshops like "Getting Unstuck — Even in Success," she helps people activate genuine expression, spark innovation, and build the kind of presence that makes them better colleagues, leaders, and human beings.

She is also co-founder of Live Up! — a creative engine she built with her sister, Debora Zilberman, designing original playful tools for meaningful connection and self-discovery, used by people of all ages around the world.

She co-leads the Breathtaking Mindfulness Retreats in Costa Rica and around the world with different guest teachers, and with her husband, Marcelo Bronstein — Rabbi, psychotherapist, and mindfulness guide — offering immersive experiences that weave together psychology, creativity, and rest.
